The holidays are a time for reflection, celebration, and, let’s be honest, wish lists! šŸŽ While I’ve been busy working on The Second Coming of Grace, I couldn’t help but imagine what my characters might be asking for this holiday season. From practical gifts to the downright whimsical, their wish lists give a glimpse into their personalities, quirks, and dreams.

So, let’s take a peek at what’s topping the holiday wish lists for Grace, Tobias, Sigrid, and more!

Grace Morgenstern

Holiday Wish List:

  1. A journal with thick, unlined pages for recording her dreams and visions.
  2. Cozy socks for the long Toronto winters.
  3. A custom necklace featuring a Star of David and a crescent moon, symbolizing her connection to her heritage and spirituality.
  4. Tickets to an indie theatre production—preferably one she’s not auditioning for!
  5. A little peace and quiet to figure out this whole clairsentience thing.

Tobias Michaels

Holiday Wish List:

  1. A new leather-bound script holder—because theatre scripts deserve a bit of class.
  2. An antique Celtic knot ring, tying him even closer to his Irish heritage.
  3. A hammock for his backyard (he’s been dreaming of stargazing in it).
  4. A donation to a local arts program—Tobias is always looking for ways to give back.
  5. A weekend escape to a secluded cabin with zero cell service. (Is Grace invited? Of course!)

Sigrid Larsson

Holiday Wish List:

  1. The latest designer handbag—preferably from an exclusive collection.
  2. A book titled How to Win Friends and Influence People, but not for the reasons you’d think.
  3. A custom skincare set to maintain her flawless complexion.
  4. A role in a big-budget movie that finally gets her the awards attention she craves.
  5. A little more attention from Tobias (but only to make Grace jealous).

Evelyn Turner

Holiday Wish List:

  1. A handwoven meditation blanket for her early morning practice.
  2. A beautifully illustrated book on world mythology—something she could pore over for hours.
  3. A high-quality kettle for her favourite loose-leaf teas.
  4. A set of chakra candles for guiding her next spiritual retreat.
  5. A quiet evening with Grace, discussing life, spirituality, and the universe over a pot of tea.

Rivka Morgenstern (Grace’s Grandmother as a Child)

Holiday Wish List:

  1. A soft doll to cuddle during the cold nights—a small source of comfort in a world that feels so uncertain.
  2. A warm, handmade blanket, stitched with love, to remind her she’s safe.
  3. A storybook filled with tales of hope and bravery—stories to transport her to a brighter place.
  4. A day where she doesn’t have to be brave, just for a little while.
  5. A pair of sturdy shoes—because even little feet must keep moving forward.

Liam Russell

Holiday Wish List:

  1. A subscription to an academic journal on paranormal psychology.
  2. A vintage pocket watch to match his timeless style.
  3. A gift card to his favourite coffee shop (writing a thesis is hard work!).

  5. A warm winter scarf—bonus points if it’s hand-knit.

Rowan O’Neill (Liam’s Love Interest)

Holiday Wish List:

  1. A new camera lens for capturing the beauty of everyday moments—especially candid shots of Liam, whether he likes it or not!
  2. A leather-bound sketchbook to document his creative inspirations.
  3. A handmade mug from a local artisan—something to make his coffee rituals even more meaningful.
  4. A book on Celtic folklore to deepen his appreciation for his Irish roots.
  5. A quiet weekend retreat to a forest cabin where he can immerse himself in nature and recharge.

Krystle Bennett (Grace’s Agent)

Holiday Wish List:

  1. A sleek new planner to map out her clients’ careers (and maybe her own personal goals).
  2. The latest must-read book on personal branding and marketing—because in this business, you’re only as good as your image.
  3. A statement blazer in power red, guaranteed to turn heads in meetings.
  4. A chic standing desk to optimize her productivity (and look fabulous while doing it).
  5. A vacation to a luxury resort where she can unwind—ideally somewhere with excellent Wi-Fi for ā€œquick check-ins.ā€
