It’s almost here.
After months of imagining, drafting, rewriting, pausing, restarting, and feeling, The Second Coming of Grace is almost ready to meet the world.
Whether you’ve been following Grace’s journey through these blog posts or are just hearing about the book for the first time, here’s a spoiler-free look at what this novel is really about—and why it might just be the story you didn’t know you needed.
Who Is Grace?
Grace Morgenstern is an aspiring actress in Toronto who’s spent most of her life trying to fit in. She’s intuitive—too intuitive. She can sense the emotional and energetic fields of others. She feels the world more deeply than most, and for that, she’s been told to tone it down, polish it up, make herself more marketable.
But Grace has secrets even she doesn’t fully understand.
Recurring dreams of a past life. A deep, mysterious connection to an ancestor who stood tall in the face of unimaginable evil. A growing awareness that her life may be shaped by something far older than she’s ever known.
What Is the Novel About?
This is not a typical coming-of-age story. Nor is it religious fiction in the traditional sense.
The Second Coming of Grace is a spiritual, emotionally rich journey of transformation. It’s about reclaiming your voice, rediscovering ancestral strength, and facing the painful parts of your past (and past lives) in order to step into who you really are.
It explores themes of:
- Clairsentience and energetic sensitivity
- Past life memory and ancestral trauma
- Spiritual awakening
- Feminine power and the pressure to conform
- Romantic love grounded in authenticity
- Healing from rejection, shame, and invisibility
Who Is It For?
This novel is for anyone who has:
- Ever felt like too much or not enough
- Tried to silence or shrink themselves to be accepted
- Found themselves torn between spiritual depth and worldly expectations
- Sought connection to their heritage or ancestors
- Wondered if there’s something more
You don’t have to believe in reincarnation or energetic sensitivity to connect with Grace. You just have to believe in the power of transformation—and in the quiet voice inside that keeps urging you to grow.
Why I Wrote It
Because I’ve lived it.
I know what it’s like to chase someone else’s version of success. To question my worth. To experience rejection that made me second-guess everything.
But I also know what it’s like to find my voice. To rediscover my creativity after years away. To recognize that the things I was told made me weird were, in fact, what made me powerful.
Writing this novel has been an act of personal healing—and of stepping into my own second coming.
What Comes Next?
The Second Coming of Grace will be available on June 9, 2025, in both ebook and paperback formats on Amazon.
If you’ve been curious, intrigued, or moved by anything you’ve read so far, I hope you’ll consider picking up a copy.
Have you ever experienced a “second coming” in your own life—a return to yourself after a time of feeling lost or diminished? I’d love to hear your story in the comments.
Next Friday will be my last post before the novel officially launches! I’ll be sharing some behind-the-scenes reflections on this journey, and what it means to release this story into the world.
